Autischer Named Deputy CEO at Trimedia

VIENNA—Alfred Autischer, Trimedia’s chief executive for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, has been
named deputy CEO of Trimedia International, becoming the first Austrian to assume a senior managerial
position for a major international PR consultancy and working alongside Trimedia chief executive Michael
Murphy, who is based in London.

Autischer began his professional career with Trimedia in 2001 after serving as a co-founder of ikp Institut
für Kommunikations-Planung in Salzburg and Vienna. In 2006, he moved into the international
management of the PR group and took over as CEO of s Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In his new
senior role, he will continue to offer counsel in change and crisis management.

According to Autischer: “The PR industry finds itself in a radical phase of upheaval. Change is occurring
at an increasingly fast pace. Globalization, digitalization—and the fragmentation of dialogue groups that
this brings with it—are all creating entirely new challenges and demands for our clients and the media.
What we need are solutions that function just as well at international level as they do locally. That is one
of the most exciting tasks that I can imagine.”
